John and Mary Catherine Melone Memorial Award
In honor of her parents, who worked hard to provide their daughters with a Catholic education, Dr. Melone would like to offer four $500 tuition scholarships. One scholarship will be awarded at each level, and will be applied to second semester tuition. Financial need must be demonstrated to receive this award. Application deadline is Friday, November 13. Recipients will be notified on or before December 11, 2009.

A $750 non-renewable scholarship is awarded to a first year student during the spring semester of first year. Applicants must respond in writing to questions about service.

THE SHEFFIECK FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
Six (6) Sheffieck Family Scholarship Awards of $3,000 each will be awarded for the 20092010 academic year. Current first year students may apply.
SISTER CORINNE RAVEN SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship in the amount of $1,500 towards tuition is given each year sponsored by the Mothers Club to a freshman, sophomore or junior student who best exemplifies the values of Catherine McAuley. The applicant's mother must be a current member of the Mother McAuley Mothers Club.

Financial Aid information and applications for the incoming class of 2014 will be included in the student’s acceptance packet and mailed out on February 12, 2010.
Applications for Financial Aid (PSAS forms) and other applications for the 2010-2011 school year are available on McAuley’s web site. Students currently receiving financial aid received 2010-2011 PSAS applications by mail in mid-January.
The PSAS applications are to returned with the indicated fee amount of $21 directly to Private School Aid Service for evaluation no later than March 12, 2010.
Tuition Assistance Awards are based upon the financial need of the family. Priority consideration is given to families who return their completed application to PSAS by the March 12, 2010 deadline.
In 2009-2010, Mother McAuley High School awarded more than $480,000 to students based upon need. The largest award amount was $2500.

Mother McAuley
A $500 reduction in tuition is given for each additional daughter currently attending McAuley.
Brother Rice
If a brother attends Brother Rice High School, a $250 discount will be given to the sibling currently attending Brother Rice and a $250 discount to one sibling attending McAuley.

All financial awards are deducted from the tuition balance and are granted only to students registered at Mother McAuley High School.

$500 non-renewable Alumnae Scholarships are available to incoming first year student daughters/granddaughters/nieces of Mother McAuley/St. Xavier Academy alumnae. A student must test at McAuley to be considered.
Academic Scholarships for First Year Students
Eligibility determined by entrance exam scores. All students achieving a 99% composite on the exam will receive a $1000 non-renewable scholarship.

Six (6) $1000 non-renewable Principal Scholarships are available for incoming first year students who test at Mother McAuley and who have been recognized for their leadership skills.
Mother McAuley Board of Trustees Scholarship
The Board scholar will receive credit equal to one-half of the annual tuition charge. Once awarded, a recipient is eligible for annual renewal provided she maintains a 3.0 GPA and continues to meet original criteria.
